Buy-side architecture represents the “broker neutral” solutions i.e. buy-side will not be dependant on the specific broker for the order execution. Buy-side will have their Order Manager to log the Order (trade management) and will use the FIX Engine to send the order messages to any broker – if the broker accepts the FIX messages (or converted to FIX messages).
